Glasgow Fort is green

While customers enjoy our stores, restaurants and the cinema, there’s a whole network of systems in place that are working hard to ensure the centre is safeguarding our environment.

Glasgow Fort has a zero to landfill policy and is 100% committed to recycling – we are currently having discussions about installing a MRF (Materials Recovery Facility), which will enable us to organise our recycling even more efficiently on-site.

Soon, we will also be donating our uniforms to the Porter Protection Group initiative in Nepal – an organisation that ensures the correct mountain hiking gear is available to all mountain porters, as well as medical support and insurance.
