We also have other measures in place to help keep everyone safe:
- We have hand sanitising stations available to use, and our retailers are encouraging contactless payments where possible
- We’re asking everyone to be considerate of others and mindful of personal space
- We have enhanced cleaning regimes in place, particularly around key touchpoints
If you feel unwell and have coronavirus symptoms, we ask you to think about others and follow the Scottish Government’s guidelines on testing.

When is the car park open and how many spaces do you have? Are there disabled / parent and child spaces?
Our car park is open to customers every day of the week, so you don't have to worry about parking whether you're visiting us for a shopping trip, eating out or visiting the cinema. We have 2,500 parking spaces - all of which are absolutely FREE. We also provide disabled parking and child spaces.

Yes, we have 4 POD Point electric vehicle charging points on site located on the ground floor of the car park. Our EV charging is 49p per KWH.

We offer a Wheelchair Loan service which can be accessed by visiting the management team, at the centre offices which you will find located on the terrace that leads out of the centre at The Body Shop.

There are baby changing stations in the Ladies and Gents public toilets and we also have a dedicated baby changing room. By request we can warm your babies bottle. There are other baby changing stations found within Boots, Mamas & Papas and Asda.

We’d love for you to get involved with our Twitter, Facebook and Instagram pages but we also need to make sure these are safe, friendly and respectful places so we have a few guidelines to make sure this happens:
1. No hate speech or bullying: we want to make sure everyone feels safe and bullying of any kind isn’t allowed. Any user posting abusive, offensive, racist, discriminatory, sexually explicit or indecent, or other comments that could cause harm towards others, will have their posts removed from our channels. If further posts are made, users will be banned and blocked from our channels.
2. Be kind and courteous. We want to create a welcoming environment on our social media platforms so let’s treat everyone with respect. Any posts that contain threatening, swearing, intimidating or violent language or an incitement to violence or disturbance will be removed. Your profile may also be shared with centre security and/or law enforcement.
3. No promotions or spam. Any unauthorised promotions for third party products or services or infringement of third-party intellectual property, privacy, and/or publicity rights aren’t allowed and will be removed from the Page.
4. Speak the truth: We want to hear about your honest experience at Glasgow Fort but please avoid any false, fraudulent or misleading claims that may damage the reputation of the centre and/or the people who work here.
Our social channels encourage our community of shoppers and visitors at Glasgow Fort to openly discuss experiences in, or directly surrounding, the centre but it should be noted that unless the post has come from our official account, posts and comments do not represent the views of Glasgow Fort.
Our social media channels are monitored daily during regular working hours (9.00am -5.30pm) and we will respond to any direct messages as soon as possible. Out of hours and weekend monitoring covers critical and emergency situations but we will always respond as soon as possible to any enquiries.

The centre toilets are currently closed for refurbishment works. During this time there will be temporary toilet facilities available (including accessible toilets) which are located between Zara and The Body Shop. There are also customer toilets available within Marks and Spencer, Boots and Asda Living as well as within our restaurants and cafes. Glasgow Fort is easy to access by car and bus.
To get to Glasgow Fort by car, take Junction 10 of the M8, which is 5 miles to the east of Glasgow City Centre (35 miles west of Edinburgh). Satnav G34 9DL.
To get to Glasgow Fort by train, take the train to Easterhouse rail station from Glasgow Queen Street. There are trains every twenty minutes. To check train times, visit the National Rail website.
