Glasgow Fort is easy to access by car and bus.
To get to Glasgow Fort by car, take Junction 10 of the M8, which is 5 miles to the east of Glasgow City Centre (35 miles west of Edinburgh). Satnav G34 9DL.
To get to Glasgow Fort by train, take the train to Easterhouse rail station from Glasgow Queen Street. There are trains every twenty minutes. To check train times, visit the National Rail website.
We offer a Wheelchair Loan service which can be accessed by visiting the management team, at the centre offices which you will find located on the terrace that leads out of the centre at The Body Shop.
Our car park is open to customers every day of the week, so you don't have to worry about parking whether you're visiting us for a shopping trip, eating out or visiting the cinema. We have 2,500 parking spaces - all of which are absolutely FREE. We also provide disabled parking and child spaces.
There are baby changing stations in the Ladies and Gents public toilets and we also have a dedicated baby changing room. By request we can warm your babies bottle. There are other baby changing stations found within Boots, Mamas & Papas and Asda.
The Changing Places facility is located in Customer Services next to The Body Shop and access can be given by Glasgow Fort Staff.
The facilities are open in line with the opening hours of the centre and include:
- Changing Bench – adult sized and height adjustable
- Hoist – ceiling track hoist designed to be used with loop attachment slings
- Toilet – the toilet has room either side for carers to support
- Sink – height adjustable
- Shower – handheld and adjustable shower

Yes. Cash machines can be found at Marks and Spencer, beside Fort News, at the side of Three and within Poundland.
Yes, all Glasgow Fort customer service and safety team are first-aid trained. We also have members of staff who are first responders and defibrillator trained. Please contact our customer service team on 0141 771 7777 if you require assistance.

Glasgow Fort is open 9am to 10pm, Monday to Friday. Saturday is 9am to 8pm and Sunday is 10am to 7pm.

We have bicycle racks located near M&S, Vue Cinema, and also beside the public toilets near Zara and The Body Shop.
Yes, we have 4 POD Point electric vehicle charging points on site located on the ground floor of the car park. Our EV charging is 49p per KWH.
