Autumn 2024 is full of amazing new releases including Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice (6 Sept) and Joker: Folie à deux (4 Oct). Book your seats online for only £4.99 or make the most of Mini Mornings on Saturday and Sundays with movie tickets to classic and new children’s films and cartoons for only £2.49 for both adults and kids at Vue.

Don’t miss Frankie & Benny’s amazing movie and a meal offer – head there after the big screen, show your ticket and you’ll get a whopping 30% off. 2.   Indulgent treats and desserts

The Hotel Chocolat and the Velvetiser Café serves iconic Velvetised™ drinking chocolate and other hot drinks. You can select from thousands of combinations for bespoke drink creations featuring 18 flavours served hot, over ice or as a Choc Shake with dairy milk or a plant-based alternative plus a variety of toppings.

Heavenly Desserts is exactly that with a full menu of American waffles, croffles, crepes, milk cakes, cookie dough, cheesecakes, sundae jars and more with toppings of chocolate, nuts and fruits. It’s the perfect place to go for a family treat.

There’s also Stack & Still which has pancakes galore. Choose from savoury menus of bacon, spicy chicken and house slaw or sweet toppings of strawberries, peanut butter and toffee apple. Their kids’ menus feature one free pancake with an adult buying a Signature or Build Your Own Stack or they can choose a £2.75 with a host of toppings and puzzle pack.

 

 

3.   The best places to eat with family menus and offers for kids

Glasgow Fort is home to some of the most children-friendly places to eat on the planet. Discover brilliant discounted children’s menus all year round at Asda Cafe Living (where kids can eat for £1 with penne pasta, fish fingers and an all-day breakfast and children under 18 months can get a free Ella’s pouch with any purchase).

Join the TGI Fridays Stripes scheme and kids eat free all day every day with tasty menus of Chicken Burger, Fridays Hotdog or Crispy Chicken Tenders and fizzy fruit coolers.

Frankie & Benny’s offers £6.80 Small Eaters or £8.30 Big Eaters menus featuring cheesy tomato pizza, creamy mac ‘n’ cheese and omega-3 fish fingers with soft drinks and a free dessert.

Nando’s famous Nandinos meals have chicken strips, wings with side orders of corn on the cob and fries with either a juice or bottomless frozen yoghurt for £6.25 while Leopardo Pizza has a kids’ menu of pizza and pasta plus a drink and ice cream for £8 (the pizzas come in the shape of leopard cubs and there are free activity packs too).

And don’t forget, Bread Meets Bread has a kids’ menu filled with hot dogs, classic burgers, cheese toastie and chicken bits served with fries, fruit juice and ice cream for £8.

5. wagamama’s new menu for summer

wagamama has a new menu featuring summer desserts including yuzu basque cheesecake or momo meringue; a cocktail of strawberry shiso mojito and mains including a coconut kare with chicken, hoki or butternut squash; koyo bowls of pulled shiitake or thai beef salad; beef brisket and kimchee gyoza and kokopanko chicken with sriracha mayo.

 

 

6. Easy parking and the best ways to get to Glasgow Fort

Parking

It’s super easy for families to get here. There are 2,500 free car parking spaces available with plenty of disabled and parent-and-child parking. We have four POD Point electric vehicle charging points located on the ground floor of the multi-storey car park too.

To get to Glasgow Fort by train, take the train to Easterhouse rail station from Glasgow Queen Street which run every 20 minutes. To check train times, visit the National Rail website. Buses run to and from Glasgow Fort frequently – find our bus services here.
