Glasgow Fort ‘Golden Globe Challenge’ Event Terms and Conditions

1. Everyone who takes part in the challenge will receive a chocolate bar to take away with them, subject to availability, even if they catch the golden gobstopper.
2. If the participant catches the golden gobstopper, they will also have the opportunity to enter a prize draw for a £200 gift voucher to a store of their choice.
3. Only one entry per person across both events.
4. Competition entries take place between 12pm and 4pm on Saturday the 9th of December 2023, and between 12pm and 4pm on Saturday the 16th of December 2023.
5. Everyone who takes part will immediately be presented with the chocolate bar consolation prize. This cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash or credit, and no alternative will be offered. If the participant declines to accept the chocolate bar at the time of participation, they forfeit their prize and will not be entitled to claim at a later date.
6. If the golden gobstopper is caught, the participant will be presented with a QR code to enter their details and enter the prize draw. This must be done on the participant’s own device, and they should not share the link with anyone else. Doing so may result in disqualification.
7. If the participant is selected as the winner of the £200 voucher, they will be contacted within 72 hours from midnight on the final event day (23.59, 16th December 2023).
8. Once notified they have won, the winner needs to make contact within 48 hours. Failure to do so will result in the prize being forfeited and a new winner selected.
9. Prizes cannot be exchanged or transferred. No cash alternatives are available.
10. The winners MUST collect the prize from Glasgow Fort.
11. The competition is operated by Toolbox Marketing on behalf of Glasgow Fort, whose registered address is Toolbox Marketing, Vine Farm, Up Street, Bardwell, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, IP31 1AA.
12. Employees of Glasgow Fort and their immediate family are not permitted to enter this competition.
13. By entering the promotion you accept these terms and conditions, and agree to participate in any publicity associated with this promotion. If the entrants fail to agree to these terms and conditions they will be automatically excluded from the promotion. You also give permission for your photographs and the rights to be used by Glasgow Fort on their website and social media pages.
14. Details of the competition are correct at the time of publication and the promoter will only supplement or amend conditions of entry in exceptional circumstances. In such circumstances promoters will tell participants how to obtain the supplemental or amended rules.
15. Prizes awarded will be as described in the marketing communications or reasonable equivalents. Please note: sizing and colour preference is dependent on store stock availability at the time.
16. The promoter and partners have arranged this competition in good faith and cannot accept liability in any matter relating to the prizes whatsoever.
17. The entrants personal information will only be used by our staff internally, for the purposes of the promotion and will not be passed on to any third parties other than where legally or contractually obliged.
18. The Promoters must make available on request the name and county of major prizewinners, by entering into the competition you are consenting to this information being publicised.
19. Prizewinners will not be compromised by the publication of excessive personal information.
20. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel the competition at any stage. These terms and conditions are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts. If any circumstances out of The Promoter’s control mean that the competition prize advertised is not available, The Promoter reserves the right to (without prior notice): (a) cancel the promotion; and or (b) substitute the competition prize for another amount of less value.
