Facilities & Services

Throughout Glasgow Fort you will find a range of services and facilities to make your visit safe, comfortable and enjoyable.

These can be found within Customer Services at the centre, which is next to The Body Shop.
Our accessible toilets are stoma friendly.

We provide accessible parking bays in all of our car parks.

You must display a valid Blue Badge to use. All parking at Glasgow Fort is free.

The Changing Places facility is located in Customer Services next to The Body Shop and access can be given by Glasgow Fort Staff.

The facilities are open in line with the opening hours of the centre and include:

  • Changing Bench – adult sized and height adjustable
  • Hoist – ceiling track hoist designed to be used with loop attachment slings
  • Toilet – the toilet has room either side for carers to support
  • Sink – height adjustable
  • Shower – handheld and adjustable shower

Our accessible toilets are stoma friendly.

There are baby changing stations in the Ladies and Gents public toilets and we also have a dedicated baby changing room. By request we can warm your babies bottle. There are other baby changing stations found within Boots, Mamas & Papas and Asda.

Our Glasgow Fort car park is open to customers every day of the week, so you don’t have to worry about parking whether you’re visiting us for a shopping trip, eating out or visiting the cinema.

We have over 2,500 parking spaces – all of which are absolutely free. We also provide acccessible  parking and child spaces.

Glasgow Fort is located adjacent to Junction 10 of the M8, 5 miles to the east of Glasgow City Centre (35 miles west of Edinburgh). Satnav G34 9DL.

The cash machines at Glasgow Fort can be found beside Fort News, at the side of Three Store, at M&S and within Poundland.

You will find the customer services facility next to The Body Shop in the centre.

Our customer service area now includes a brand new fully accessible Changing Places toilet, family room with feeding and bottle warming facilities and upgraded toilets.

We have 4 POD Point electric vehicle charging points on site located on the ground floor of the car park. Our EV charging is 49p per KWH.

We’re sorry the outdoor play area located next to Boots is temporarily closed due to development work.

Customer toilets are available in the centre next to The Body Shop. There are also customer toilets available within Marks and Spencer, Boots and Asda Living as well as within our restaurants and cafes.

We offer a Wheelchair Loan service which can be accessed by visiting the management team, at the centre offices which you will find located on the terrace that leads out of the centre at The Body Shop.
