Friday 22nd November-Sunday 29th December

Instantly find your Christmas spirit with Glasgow Fort’s pop-up Christmas market featuring stalls of personalised Christmas tree decorations and gifts of German chocolate kisses, Scottish cheese, Mini Dutch pancakes plus snacks of German sausages and festive fries. There will also be a fun fairground with a big wheel, candy cane trampolines and more giving those magical wintery wonderland moments. Discover what’s on here.

Don’t miss our Christmas movie favourites with our walkabout characters

This Christmas, we’re playing host to some famous names from the big screen including the Grinch & Cindy Lou, Buddy the Elf and Santa and Home Alone’s Sticky Bandits. There’s also a magic Harry Potter and a brass band playing all our favourite Christmas movie themes. What this space for dates and times.

Do something amazing this Christmas

We’re making it easy to donate to the charity Simba with our contactless donation point at the Glasgow Fort Christmas tree. Simba’s team create precious moments and memory boxes to support families through child loss. Find out more about their work here.

We’re partnering again with local charity FARE on their Christmas Toy Appeal to ensure local children wake up to a present on Christmas morning. From cuddly teddies to gifts for teenagers, you can donate presents of any size and value at our collection point. All donations will be wrapped by the FARE toy appeal volunteers before being delivered to families across Glasgow in time for Christmas; we’ll also be collecting for the food bank.

Enjoy must-see Christmas movies at Vue

This year is set to be one of the most exciting times for family movies with Wicked (22 November), Moana 2 (27th November) and Mufasa: The Lion King (20th December) all coming to the big screen at Vue. With special shows of the Royal Ballet’s The Nutcracker and Cinderella too, make sure you book in for a great day out.

Eat, drink and be merry with family-friendly festive menus

Come together for sitdown celebrations with everyone you love. TGI Fridays have a Christmas menu filled with Cajun Claus mac’n’cheese, Santa’s Smashed Burger and kids eat free with their Stripes Rewards while Frankie & Benny’s have a special menu of two courses for £19.95 plus a kids’ menu filled with pancakes, pasta and pizza.

It’s super easy for families to get here. There is plenty of free car parking available with plenty of disabled and parent-and-child parking.
We’re open until 8pm on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th December; until midnight from 16th-20th December; Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd December until 10pm; Monday 23rd December until midnight; Tuesday 24th December 5pm close; Boxing Day 8am-7pm; Friday 27th till Monday 30th December: normal trading hours; New Year’s Eve 5pm close and New Year’s Day dependent on retailers.
