Glasgow Fort and Simba launch Christmas Chari-tree appeal
This festive season we’re proud to be partnering with local charity Simba on our Christmas Chari-tree fundraising appeal. Simply pop down to the centre where you can tap to donate to Simba with our contactless donation point at the Christmas tree (next to M&S).
Simba’s team create precious moments and memory boxes to support families through baby loss. They do this through the gifting of their hand finished Memory Boxes, comfortable Bereavement Rooms within hospitals and poignant Remembrance sculptures. In nearby Provan Hall, a Tree of Tranquillity remembrance sculpture offers local families a quiet and reflective space to honour their babies.
Kelsay Wood, Community and Events Lead at Simba Charity, says; “We’re absolutely delighted to be the chosen partner for Glasgow Fort’s Chari-tree campaign. We rely on our generous supporters all year round. Every Christmas donation made will help us provide high quality memory making experiences for bereaved families in Scotland. With every family’s experience being different, each gift can help us make sure we are there whenever they need time, space or love.”
You can visit the Simba Chari-tree from 22nd November 2024 until Christmas.
