This Christmas, Glasgow Fort is all about making lasting memories together with friends, family and loved ones.

We have a packed season of fun activities for all ages including a special winter market of food, drink and gifting, a Bavarian bar and swing grill with a traditional Oompah Band and singalongs, a Bing! Pop-up for little ones, fair rides, festive selfies with Santa’s sleigh and giant baubles and, most importantly of all, you can come and meet Father Christmas himself as part of our Santa Saturdays.

We’ve even got some cheeky visits from The Grinch… 

With over 100 stores, cafes and restaurants plus the Vue cinema for festive days out, free parking, excellent public transport and weekday extended festive opening hours until 10pm (with many stores staying open until midnight on 19th-23rd December), plan your special Christmas days out at Glasgow Fort. 

 

Come and celebrate Santa Saturdays and The Grinch

Santa is coming to find out who’s been naughty or nice... Head to Glasgow Fort on Saturday 3rd, Saturday 17th and Saturday 24th December between 11am-4pm where Father Christmas will be stopping for selfies and finding out what’s on their wishlists.

Making for the perfect photo opportunity, The Grinch will be out and about on Friday 2nd and Sunday 18th December (11am-4pm). He might be grumpy but he doesn’t mind a festive photo or three and fortunately Cindy Lou Who will be keeping him in line.

Join our Christmas singalongs

In need of some comfort and joy this season? Head to Glasgow Fort on Saturday 3rd December (11am-4pm) and enjoy a Bavarian Oompah Band playing Yuletide favourites – you can’t fail to find that Christmas spirit. 

 

Take a special festive selfie

Explore a whole host of festive selfie spots for fun photos including Santa’s sleigh and giant baubles and bring some seasonal magic into your social feeds. 

 

Eat, drink and be merry with special menus

Celebrate with friends and family at one of Glasgow Fort’s bars and restaurants this Christmas with some special seasonal menus. 

The newly opened Neapolitan-style Leopardo Pizza that has a huge selection of cocktails, craft beers and wine and Bread Meets Bread also have menus specially designed to add some Christmas cheer. And, don’t miss pancake pioneers Stack & Still who always come up with some very special Christmas recipes plus they sell gift cards… the perfect stocking filler. 

Monterey Jacks has a festive three-course menus of burgers, pizzas, biscotti cheesecake and festive cocktails for all. Fridays are serving up everything from Have Yourself A Merry Cheesy Nachos to Be Good For Goodness Steak with seasonal cocktails; Frankie & Benny’s are including Porchetta Croquettes, a Glad Tidings Baked Pasta and a Choux Bun Tower while Pizza Hut and wagamama are the genius places to find lunches and dinners to suit everyone. Get your crackers and party hats at the ready. 

 

Visit a winter market

Transport yourself to a winter wonderland with fairground rides including a big wheel, candy cane trampolines, a Santa train ride and more. There will also be toasted marshmallows, German bratwurst sausages and mulled wine with stalls of Christmas decorations, cheese, fudge and live music. Fröhliche Weihnachten!

Little ones can meet Bing!

Everyone’s favourite toddler bunny is at Glasgow Fort for Christmas. Take your little ones for a free Bing! experience where they’ll get to meet and greet characters, enjoy craft activities and hear special Christmas stories about Bing and Flop.

Getting on top of your gift list? Glasgow Fort’s stores have brilliant ideas that will thrill them on Christmas morning. For jewellery, head to H Samuel and Pandora; find sneakers, party dresses, winter knitwear and inspired gifts for teens at Zara, Mango, Next and JD Sports while Lush has some brilliantly festive bath bombs. (Or simply buy online and collect direct from our stores.)

For all your Christmas food and drink, find delicious ideas and party food at Marks & Spencer with seasonal specials including layered Christmas turkey pie, the Collection Christmas Village dessert and mini steamed buns. They also have a huge selection of mince pies, crisps and dips, chocolate and biscuit boxes.
